About Your Trainer – John Sih

John Sih is a Trained Public Speaker and an Educator of Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication skills. He holds a London College of Music (LCM) Honours Certificate in Public Speaking, and a Teaching and Performance Certificate from Trinity College. He is also a Certified Trainer and Facilitator, and learned the ropes from both local and overseas Master Trainers.

He is an active Toastmaster who has won accolades as being the Best Impromptu and Prepared Speech speaker, as well as Best Evaluator. He was voted the Toastmaster Of The Year in 1994. In the same year, he was also the Area S1 International Speech Contest Champion.

John has also judged in the annual Toastmasters speech contests. He now holds the title of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM); a title conferred by Toastmasters International on an individual who has achieved Excellence In Communication And Leadership.

He has also been invited to judge in the annual Plain English Speaking Award (PESA). An oratorical contest for Primary, Secondary and Pre-University students.
